There are SO many other Twilight-esque novels out there, but I thought I'd give another series a shot. Although the plot to this one was okay, there were so many things that made me angry with the book. Like the over-the-top reactions to anything related to homosexuality or drugs. It was almost preachy, like when the main character has a gag reflex when she sees two other characters are engaged in a sexual act. You're not supposed to almost-puke when something sexual happens; that is not a normal teenage response. I don't know, that just irritated me.
