This was the first Gossip Girl book that I'd read since getting into the show (the prequel aside) and, I have to admit, I think I actually like the show better now! Blair and Serena were pissed off at each during 90% of this book, Nate is so stupid that it's annoying and Jenny is so underdeveloped. At first, the differences were the most shocking (Blair and Chuck AREN'T together...what?!?) But then, I realized that the writers on the TV show just took the plots in wilder and more creative directions. Maybe the writers of the books should try the same thing? Just a thought.
