The Casual Vacancy
Didn't even get through my usual 50 pages on this one. I wasn't expecting another Harry Potter type book, but I almost think that J.K. Rowling was trying a little TOO hard to make the book "adult" and thus completely different from her previous work. Normally I don't have an issue with swearing in books, but this just seemed a little excessive, plus characters that I wasn't really caring about.
