Magyk (Septimus Heap Series #1)
A Chapters employee recommended this book to me. Ever since I read Artemis Fowl, I've been wary about books that are hailed to be Harry Potter-esque (because, c'mon, NOTHING is just as good as Harry Potter!). This book surprised me though! It's magical, has a great story and was a really fun read!
