Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West (Wicked Years Series #1)
I had heard SO many good things about this book and my parents said that the musical was amazing. The book was OK. I thought that it would be funny, but it was actually very political.I saw the Broadway play in 2011, and gained further appreciation for the satirical nature of the book. I wonder if I would like the next one more, if I started reading it with the understanding that it won't be funny?
