Shadow and Bone
I wanted to like this book, since I've heard so many great things about the story, but I just couldn't get into it. I've always had issues with books that are too fantastical; I can get into a fantasy story, but it has to be grounded in reality. This one was just a little too confusing, since I felt like I needed to have more about the world explained to me, and it just wasn't.
