Everything We Ever Wanted
Normally I give a book 50 pages to impress me before I move on to something more enjoyable. I really enjoyed both of Shepard's YA series, so I pressed forward past page 80, but the book just didn't grab me. I didn't care about the characters. The twist is set up far too obviously from the beginning, and there wasn't any more suspense building to encourage me to read on.
