I have a vague recollection of reading Avi's books as a child, but reading this one was just great! Avi's writing style is suspenseful, adventurous, thrilling and sprinkled with humour. I loved Ragweed's gangster voice and Ereth's strange expressions (what in bug's breath are you doing?).
